What are friarielli:

Neapolitan friarielli are the flowers of turnip tops, typical of Campania cuisine, especially Naples. Similar to broccoli but with a more bitter and decisive flavor, friarielli are harvested before flowering and are usually prepared sautéed in a pan with oil, garlic and chili pepper. The result is a tasty and much-loved side dish that often accompanies meat dishes such as sausage.
